In this edition of the weekly auto news recap, we look back at the history of one of the most storied car brands as well as look forward to some cars that will be hitting the showrooms in the near future. All in all, it was another week peppered with stories of struggling automakers and rumors of bankruptcy.

For the most part, it was more of the same this week in the auto industry. Major auto companies announced their dismal sales figures while the possibility of bankruptcy still hangs ominously over some auto manufacturer’s heads. But that’s not all that happened this week. We did celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, and predictably, there was a lot of news in auto hybrids throughout the week.

Another week has passed, yet the story remains the same: the auto industry is struggling, and its future is uncertain. This week, we bring you stories about the future of Saturn as well as the probability of GM filing bankruptcy.
