Always seeking to be an automotive industry leader, when it comes to saftey, Honda recently announced their new airbag which provides additional driver safety during accidents. Key to Honda's new i-SRS airbag is a spiraling seam in the design and a gas-release control valve which deploys the airbag faster, creating a longer overall period of inflation. The result, according to Honda, is more-effective protection for the driver in severe impact accidents and increased safety in various types of accidents. This improved system will make its debut in the Life mini-car released date November 2008 in Japan. No word yet as to when the technology will been seen in their cars within the United States.

I'm glad that Honda is
I'm glad that Honda is finally living up to its promise to produce better quality cars. I recently hear a lot of negative stuff about their cars that always has something broken when the consumers get it, from the weatherstrip to the engine. There is always a new complaint. This air bag improvement just shows their concern for their customers and their effort to clear their brand name.
